SHANNON and TREACLE

Have been re-homed with a family well known to the Rescue Scheme and have settled in extremely well. We had many enquiries and thank everyone for their concern.

SAM

Aged between 5 and 7 yrs old Sam was originally a stray from Cyprus. A good family dog,  used to children, and housetrained. Like most Irish Setters he likes comfort and will climb on the furniture. Sam has lived with a spayed bitch and would be happy to share again, enjoying the company of other dogs. He is  strong, boisterous and affectionate and needs a family

 with energy levels to match

A new baby and other commitments parted him from his original owners, who have retained an older quieter bitch.

Sam obeys most basic commands, although like others of his breed his recall off lead could be better.

A really lovely boy.

SAM is now happily settling in his new home, and once again proving what a lovely breed we have in the Irish Red Setter.
