The sole purpose of this list is to facilitate communication between members of the Irish Setter Breeders Club (ISBC), who have puppies to sell, and potential purchasers.

The ISBC does not assume any responsibility for or make any representations in respect of any puppy purchased as a result of making this list available, and buyers must satisfy themselves that any puppy purchased is in good health.  It is a sensible precaution to arrange immediate insurance cover for any puppy purchased.  From July 1st 2000 all Irish Setters used for breeding should be either hereditarily clear of CLAD or have a CLAD DNA test before they are used for breeding, in line with Kennel Club Recommendations. Please refer to Kennel Club for information regarding dame & sire of any litter.

Why not become a member of the ISBC?  The Club is open to all owners of Irish Setters who agree to abide by the Club’s Rules and Code of Conduct.  We publish a Year Book and two newsletters a year which are free to members.  We have regional groups which put on social and educational events and are there to help owners of Irish Setters.
