IRISH SETTER BREEDERS CLUB

IRISH SETTER REHOMING & RESCUE SCHEME

HOW DO I OFFER A HOME?

Any dog that needs a new home will come with baggage, this may be good, bad, or a mix of both. Therefore in the first instance the Rescue Scheme gives priority to people who have experience of owning the breed and know what to expect in general. After this we look for homes that are most likely to be compatible with the age and requirements of the dogs that we have been asked to re-home.

You might like to look at our Guide to owning a Rescue Dog (see buttons below)  If we place a dog with you there will be a monitored probation period and our Advice Sheet will give you more information (click here) The important  thing is that you talk to us - so that we can help you to help a dog.

Your first contact should be Rescue Secretary Barbara Rogers.
